The Communications team is responsible for telling the Airbnb story around the world. Whether it's speaking to journalists and bloggers, hosts and guests, industry commentators, thought leaders or the wider community, the Communications team is the voice of Airbnb.

This position will be based in Sydney, reporting to our Head of Communications, Australia & New Zealand, and will require occasional domestic and international travel. As a member of the Communications team, you will work closely with our Trust and Safety, Marketing, Customer Experience and Public Policy teams to help advance the company's position in this exciting region. You’ll be at the front line, telling our story to a wide range of journalists and community leaders.
You’ve got to be comfortable and confident in working directly with journalists; managing media enquiries on deadline; helping design and deliver communications plans; and supporting the production of events. We’re looking for an effective and creative communicator who has the ability to explain complex ideas in simple ways.
