Chloe Hill, Fashion Market Editor
When you're heading from show to show at Fashion Week in Sydney—or just stalking the #mbfwa hashtag on Instagram—it's hard to miss Chloe Hill's easy smile, tousled, cropped locks, and modern take on feminine wardrobe classics. She's the fashion market editor at "Oyster" and documents her personal style—a cool blend of personality-adding separates (like denim coats, skinny scarves, and wild prints) at ChloeChill.com.
Unlike most other style bloggers however, Hill's legitimately carved out a look that's all her own, and while you'll spot a few of the season's cult classic in her wardrobe (like fringed denim or pinstripe culottes), she'll skillfully pull them all together in a way that can't be replicated by just any Instagram It-girl. She's got a killer eye, the true hallmark of a gifted market editor.
Before landing her gig with "Oyster," she was the fashion market editor at "Instyle," where she became a walking encyclopedia of what's hot in fashion right now (and next year, and the year after that.) We caught up with Hill to take a peek inside an average day at work.
6:00 a.m. Wake up, check my phone and social media while eating breakfast.
7:00 a.m. Go to Pilates or for a quick run through Rushcutters Bay.
8:00 a.m. Shower and get ready.
8:30 a.m. Leave for work. Oyster's office is in Paddington so I try to walk as often as possible.
9:00 a.m. Get through my emails and work on online content.
11:00 a.m. Head out on appointments to pull clothes for shoots and check out new season ranges.
4:00 p.m. My afternoons are usually packed with meetings and getting through more emails.
6:00 p.m. Quickly make an outfit change and head out to the evenings events, lately here have been a lot of store openings and summer launches.
8.:30 p.m. Quick dinner with my husband and a little TV before bed.
